All in one hardware solution to control BJJCZ Lite card based systems (Lightburn / EZCad2) with emphasis on motorized Z axis lift style platform control (for galvo lasers). Designed to work seamlessly with our FocuZ software controller.

Features:

• Convert your manual Z axis lift platform to a motorized system with easy, saved positioning and Lightburn / axis movement events.
• Hardware controller for single Z axis with enclosure. Enclosure can be expanded to 3 axis systems (pre-built enclosures and upgrade kits planned).
• Z axis mount and motor included.
• Integrated braking system to ensure no accidental movement of the axis (no lead/ball screw clamping needed - position is held regardless if powered on/off)
• Inductive limit switches on both Z+ and Z- for greater accuracy over mechanical switches.
• Upgraded external drive for Z axis control included

 Axis Controller:

• Flashed with custom firmware designed to work seamlessly with our FocuZ software platform.
• Two additional axis (X/Y) available to use for automation.
• Retain your current rotary axis (if available). If your current BJJCZ controller includes rotary axis support, it remains available via the BJJCZ as usual in Lightburn / EZCad2
• Closed loop limit switch availability for Z+, Z-, X+, X-, Y+, Y-.
• Homing on all + switches
• M-Code external control functionality (air & vacuum on/off, etc.) 
  
  • (1x) 24v control (~10-15a depending on heat buildup) no relay needed
  • (3x) 24v control (~5a each) no relay needed
  • (4x) 5v relay control pins

Installation

• 4 holes will need to be drilled and tapped (recommended) to secure the motor mount to the top of the lift column. An additional two tapped holes may be needed to secure the target (sensor plate) to the lift platform. Parts can be sent in for drilling and tapping service.
• Install a coupler and simply connect the cables for plug-and-play operation.
• Installation assistance is available both before and after purchase. Installation videos will be available as well.

FocuZ software controller (sold separately):

• Z Axis software based controller designed to control BJJCZ Lite card based systems (Lightburn / EZCad2 galvo) with emphasis on Z axis lift platform control. (tested on LMCV4-FIBER-M and FBLI-B-LV4)
• 8 saved lens optimum focal positions
• Easy to find optimum focal distances with significantly greater accuracy
• Z axis offsets for updating focal; height without the need for calibration
• Powerful sequencer control to run a series of operations for multiple Z height part marking, additional X and Y axis control, and more (currently working with Lightburn 2.0.04/2.0.05 - EZCad2 control TBD)
• Terminal (MDI) control for advanced capability or quick, targeted input (GRBL based for familiarity)
• Includes additional "@" command for freehold release to idle
• Linear axis control for Z/X/Y axis
• Designed to work with FocuZ compatible controllers for seamless integration
